It’s a new year, so I decided to change things up a bit.

To be quite honest, I was looking for a reason to change things up a bit. I’ve never been really satisfied with my blog, or the name, or the theme, or the content. I’ve just been unsatisfied with it. Even now it lingers, but the change is satisfying.

“designdraft” is a word that I scribbled in my sketchbook one day, but I didn’t really notice it until a month later when I was looking through. I don’t know what it means but it has a nice ring to it. Maybe the meaning will come as unannounced as the actual term. The new theme is the K2 beta by Chris J Davis and Michael Heilemann. I really like how this theme feels except for a few things, but it’s a beta so I can’t expect perfection.

I’m starting on a new leaf for 2006. I feel good about the year already, and I’m going to make things happen. I’m going to officially found The Ani Group and launch ani:6 and all of it’s children sites as soon as possible. This means less hanging out at Asahiya and less World of Warcraft, because there’s work to be done. And I intend on doing it.

2006 is going to be a great year.
